Can I get a tour of the studio? Yes, We highly encourage it. It’s often helpful to check the space out, and have a conversation about the specifics of your project. Please reach out via the contact page or or call/text 520-333-8750. Typically you will hear back from us within the day.

What are your rates? THE RATES WILL DEPEND ON WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH, BUT WILL FALL BETWEEN $550 AND $700 A DAY. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TALKING TO US AHEAD OF TIME ABOUT YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS. WE CAN HELP PAIR YOU WITH THE RIGHT PERSON, HELP WITH A BUDGET AND FIND THE BEST WAY TO APPROACH THINGS FOR YOUR PROJECT.

Can I book less than a half day? (4 hours)? No. There are only very rare exception where we are able to do this. If we can, the rate is $100 an hour.

Do daily rates include an engineer? YES. Daily rates include a qualified engineer that can either lead the session, or serve as an assistant to your engineer or producer.

I am an independent producer or engineer, is your room available for freelancers? Yes. Absolutely. The room was intentionally designed to be freelance friendly. Qualified engineers are welcome to book the room. The rates are $350 for a 9 hour day or $175 for a 4 hour day. The clock begins running when the session is scheduled to start.

DO YOU RECORD VOICE OVER, AUDIO BOOKS, ETC? ABSOLUTELY. ROBBIE IS OUR RESIDENT VOICE OVER EXPERT, AND CAN HELP YOU WITH ALL OF THE DETAILS TO MAKE YOUR PROJECT A SUCCESS. BECAUSE OF THE SPECIFICS OF THINGS LIKE AUDIO BOOKS, IT IS BILLED AT $100 AN HOUR.

Can I break up the day rate into multiple days? No.

Are there any additional costs? What am I responsible for? The only potential additional cost would be if you decide to get the piano tuned for your session. (see below) Everything at the studio, including the instruments, are available for you at no additional cost. You are encouraged to bring your own external hard drive for backups of the day’s work. We have a RAID array where everything is being written to 2 drives at all times, BUT it’s a computer. Things can happen, and project storage and backup are the client’s responsibility.

what’s the deal with the piano? We have 2 lovely pianos availble. a warm Kawaii Upright and a lovely late 70’s baldwin baby grand. we have them tuned twice a year, but there is no guarantee that they will be in tune enough for your project’s needs. If you would like one or both of the pianos tuned for your session, please give us 3 weeks notice. The cost is $200 (per piano).

how far out are you booked? we are OFTEN booked 1-2 MONTHS OUT, Sometimes longer. Feel free to reach out via the contact page and we’re happy to talk about specific dates.

Do you accept interns? no. we do not currently have an intern program.
